Well it has been a long time since I updated. Friday I started the trip up to denver by riding from town up and over wolf creek before meeting up with the crew in between south fork and del norte. Denver is awesome city, Tricia loft was an sweet setup within walking distance of just about anything you would want to do. Schmity friends from salt lake flew in for the weekend. The car ride up was filled with crazy 70 mph winds blowing the snow over the road and making it appear to be a white out. Saturday Chop and I went to the skate park in downtown denver. It was a sick cement park with tons of different sections including a 15 foot deep bowl. There had to be over 200 people there so it was a little crowded. Saturday night we headed to see the roots live which was crazy. They killed it for 3 hours straight playing just about ever type of music you could think of.

Sunday we headed home and it was a easy trip but once I was home I started feeling a bit under the weather. I guess I caught a touch of the stomach bug and ended up puking a couple of times. Monday i laid around and tried to recover from my rough night. Tuesday I got back on my bike with snyder and did the airport dirt roads. Tuesday I introduced schmity to the cherry creek loop.

During the tour of cali our house has turned into a theater considering that we must be the only college kids with digital cable. On top of that adigga's guitar hero has become a big hit. Noah is showing up early and leaving late trying to become the next guitar hero.

Aztec recap!

Well the ride didn't turn out going that well. I did end up in water over the cranks. And riding in mud for over an hour. It took around 4.5 hrs to return to pavement. I actually ended up running out of light and had to call upon timmon and snyder to come pick me up half between durango and aztec. I think i will give it two or three weeks before I attempt that ride again. Today i rode in the rain for a little more than an hour to finish up my hours for week. Snyder and Timmons went up to the mountain today and richard landed his 1st 360 off a real jump. He spins to win. Hopefully it doesn't rain tomorrow will see who knows. I think purchase bartmans bmx bike tomorrow it is a sweet T1 Barcode with profile parts that is in mint condition.

Aztec Dirt Loop

Well I haven't been that adventurous in the last week of base. I've been doing the base loops i know. Not today I've mapped (google earth) out a dirt loop from la posta road just out side of durango down to aztec. Will see how it goes should be interesting i hope it doesn't turn in mud over the wheels but you never know when traveling on low traveled dirt roads. Beside from that on cheery creek i've only seen 3 cars each time i've ridden it this year. I think this loop today will have a similar car count it mite even have that low of a house count. Schmity turns 21 in less than a week which means my 1st block of base is done in less than a week. We are all going up denver to through down and i'll either be seeing the roots live or going to the Woodward bmx park. I would really love to get to hit up the woodward park will see. O yeah by the way chops got in the telegraph this week with a pic of him picking at an ice patch and airing out of the half pipe at the skatepark. Its funny to me that they have a picture of him working on the park b/c that seems to be what he would rather be doing. At the trails he normally digs more that he rides. He is turning into a local celebrity in D-town.

Base

Well now base is in full effect. It was Snowdown this past weekend in durango but i really didn't get to take part in the festivities. The O-dog and crew where out in full effect on friday night training for 18 holes of mini-golf on saturday with each hole at a different bar so that means @ least 18 for a drink count by the end of the round. That sounds like a tough day on the course. Sunday I got to do a ride that I haven't done in about a year the creey cheek ride with snyder. It is a loop where you are on dirt roads for over half the ride and it is about 70 miles. On the way home i got a little overzealous and tried to connect one last little part and snyder and i ended up riding through this!

Superbowl was good I stayed low key considering I have done my fair share of drinking the past month and was worked over from my longest base ride of the year. It was a good thing because I woke up a little under the weather on monday but went to the store and bought my normal cold attack medicine. (Airborne, Coldeez, and this time i tried out the vicks shower stuff). By tuesday I was feeling a bit better and was able to get back on my bike and do a valley. Nothing exciting has really been going on. The bike is still MIA and I plan to go for a ride with Richard Timmons today, hopefully he doesn't take me out like he does when we go skiing.

BMX Bike MIA!!!!!

Well last night I had my BMX taken from outside of joels in between 10:30 and 11:30. It is black with handle bars that say terrible one on them and it has a sparkled blue seat. Besides from that it is all black and is spinning on 20 inch chrome wheels and chrome chainring. I have posted two pics of it. If anyone see it rolling around D-town let me know.
