Thursday night i definitely went big was suffering all day friday. For some reason it seems that everytime i go really big i always have to work the next day. Nothing like nursing a hang over in RGPS considering it is about 90 plus thanks to the grill. My parents got in friday night after a tough day of traveling for them. Friday night we went out to dinner and then i had hit hay considering i had to wake up @ 7 for graduation. I got a ride up school with shriver in the red rock. Graduation went well and then I was off to the airport to pick up todd's truck. I actually rode the mtb bike there so i could hit up the gulch and come out over by the new hospital lucky i haven't visited it yet. ( knock on wood) Later that night my parents myself and meg went to dinner at the mahogany grill. It was amazing and they ever had a wine tasting deal where you get 3 different wines that equal a glass and half. That is a cool concept first time i've seen it with wine. After that it was back home to try to get some sleep before i headed down for the Alien Run MTB race in Aztec, NM. This would be the second day i had to wake up with the roosters at 7. The Alien Run is a race in the desert with i would say 60% single track and 40% dirt roads. We has a good turn out even this guy showed up.

I had a good race attacked about 10 min in and created the group of myself, TBrown, and Zak Shriver. We rode together the entire race witness a Zak Shriver Surge man that hurt. With about 5 min to go i overshot a corner and Tbrown gaped Zak and that was the race. We came in all with in 10 seconds of eachother but it was the singletrack that was speed controlled so it was impossible to close gaps. I was happy with the ride and think the form will be on target for fontana.

Dan Bowman 2nd overall @ TofVA
Guptil 9th @ TofVA
